This was originally a league fixture but due to problems with officials then a friendly was arranged instead.
Both teams started well with Kynoch using big runners into the Bewdley forwards.
Bewdley counter acted this with good runs in the backs especially from Alan Banks and the Freeman brothers in the centre.
The first score was a very scrappy affair with slack tackling letting in the Kynoch forwards. After that Bewdley threw everything bar the kitchen sink at Kynoch to try and gain an
opening. This pressure lead to three penalties which unluckily sailed wide of the target.
Again Kynoch broke and scored more points but Bewdley played with gusto and only some very good defence kept the scores to a minimum. The Kynoch pack was awesome and ruled the scrums but
the Bewdley backs were more than a match for their opposite numbers.
Again luck did not go Bewdley's way when they lost their fly half through injury.
