Bewdley again had a hard match and showed glimpses that they can turn this season around. The game started very equal with both teams cancelling each other out in all respects, but Bewdley
again suffered bad luck when fly half Tony Banks left the field with a facial injury later confirmed as a fractured cheekbone. This caused Bewdley into a reshuffle but the team stuck at the task well.
The first score went to Greyhounds when poor defending lead to several penalties in front of the posts, which were duly converted into points. Bewdley came back hard through good runs from
the Freeman brothers in the centre. As so often this season Bewdley could not turn possession into points.
Two barnstorming runs from fullback Alan Banks gave Bewdley hope but Greyhounds responded with tries of their own. Bewdley's points came from a quick tap penalty scored in the corner but it
was too little too late. The game from then on was very scrappy both teams giving penalties away. Again Bewdley played with great spirit but how long will this spirit last?
